Privacy Policy
This policy explains the categories of information VeCost may process through the public website and the fleet management application.
Effective date: August 23, 2026
This page is provided to explain the current VeCost service in clear, practical terms. It may be updated as the service develops.
Who operates VeCost
VeCost is currently developed and operated independently by its owner.
Information VeCost may process
VeCost may process information provided through the public website and information customers choose to enter when using the fleet management application.
- Contact and request information, such as name, company, email address, fleet size, and message content submitted through early access or demo forms.
- Account and authentication information needed to create, secure, and administer access.
- Employee and user information provided by the customer for team access and permissions.
- Vehicle, fleet, and operational information customers choose to enter, including maintenance, cost, fuel, booking, employee, and inventory records.
- Subscription and billing information needed to administer plans, modules, payment status, and access.
- Technical and analytics information related to website or application use, where collected.
Why information is processed
- To provide the VeCost website, early access, demo, and contact workflows.
- To provide and maintain customer accounts, employee access, permissions, subscriptions, modules, and plan access.
- To store, organize, and display customer-entered fleet and operational records.
- To provide customer support, security, troubleshooting, communication, and billing administration.
- To improve the website and product through optional analytics when consent is given.
Billing and third-party services
Paid checkout and subscription payment processing are handled through Lemon Squeezy, which may process billing, checkout, payment, tax, and customer information according to its own terms and privacy documentation.
VeCost may also use hosting and platform providers, an email provider for contact and service communications, and optional analytics services such as Google Analytics and Vercel Analytics when analytics are accepted.
Analytics and technical information
The public website can use optional Google Analytics and Vercel Web Analytics after a visitor accepts analytics preferences. These services help VeCost understand website usage at an aggregate level.
The authenticated VeCost application may use essential technical information and browser or session mechanisms needed for sign-in, security, account access, and user preferences.
Retention
VeCost keeps information only as long as reasonably necessary for service operation, account administration, legal or accounting obligations, dispute resolution, security, troubleshooting, and legitimate business needs.
Changing plans may restrict access to certain features or active resources, but does not by itself necessarily delete historical records.
Your rights
Depending on applicable law, you may have rights to request access, correction, deletion, restriction, objection, portability, or withdrawal of consent for certain processing. Privacy requests can be made through the public contact or demo form on this website.
Cookies and preferences
The website provides Accept and Reject choices for optional analytics. You can change your preference from the footer or the Cookie Policy page.
International processing
Some providers used to deliver VeCost may process data outside your country.
